THE VIEW CANCEL GIG DUE TO MEDIA INTRUSION
Scottish rockers THE VIEW have scrapped plans to play an intimate gig in London on Thursday night (03Apr08), blaming media intrusion for the cancellation. The Same Jeans hitmakers were due to headline a set at the Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes, but pulled out at the last minute after several news sources published details of the show. The news has devastated fans eager to preview exclusive live tracks from the group's as-yet-untitled second album. However, The View's supporting acts, including White Denim, Red Light Company and The Joy Formidable, are still scheduled to perform at the venue.
