THE SKIDS TO REUNITE
Scottish rockers THE SKIDS are set to reform this year (07), after 26 years away from the limelight.
The INTO THE VALLEY hitmakers - consisting of frontman RICHARD JOBSON, bassist BILL SIMPSON and drummer MIKE BAILLIE - will reunite for a one-off performance at the UK's T in the Park festival in July (06).
Guitarist STUART ADAMSON, who died in 2001, will be replaced by BIG COUNTRY's BRUCE WATSON.
Jobson, now a film director, says, "There's been an overwhelming response from Skids fans old and new who want to see us play live.
"In other words, momentum took the decision out of my hands."
