PARIS HILTON and NICOLE RICHIE are out of a job after news their hit reality show THE SIMPLE LIFE has been axed. The wealthy socialites proved a huge hit trying their hand at manual labour on the programme - which spawned five series - but The Insider reports network E! has dropped the show from next year's (08) line-up. Rumours of an imminent end began when Fox dropped the series in 2005 and Hilton and Richie became embroiled in a mystery feud. The girls' turbulent personal lives continued to complicate filming, culminating in Hilton's imprisonment for a probation violation in June (07) and reports Richie is expecting a baby.
