THE SATURDAYS STAR IN STAGE FALL

A member of British girl band THE SATURDAYS performed in a wheelchair on Wednesday night (03Jun09) after taking a nasty tumble backstage.
Vanessa White was racing to get onstage in Dundee, Scotland with bandmates Una Healy, Mollie King, Frankie Sandford and Rochelle Wiseman when she tripped over a wire.
Medics rushed to help the 19 year old and the other girls were forced to start the gig without her.
But doctors put her leg in a cast and White was wheeled onstage before the end of the concert to perform.
She told the crowd, "Thank you so much to everybody. I twisted my ankle. One minute I was there and the next I was off."
