THE SATURDAYS DESIGN FOR TOPSHOP

British girl group THE SATURDAYS are following in the footsteps of supermodel KATE MOSS and launching their own fashion line in the U.K. which will be available in high street clothing giant Topshop.

Just a week after Moss launched the chain's U.S. flagship store in New York City to huge fanfare, the five-piece have announced their own deal with Rare.

Each bandmember will design two items of clothing for fashion brand Rare, which distributes its garments via Topshop and other high street stores. They will go on sale this summer (09).

A band spokesperson tells CMU Music, "We absolutely love fashion and having the chance to design our own collection is brilliant. It's great that we now get to have our very own range."

Moss unveiled her hugely successful clothing line with Topshop back in May 2007.
