THE ROOTS' ALBUM PUSHED BACK TO 2010

Cult hip-hop group THE ROOTS have delayed the release of their new album to allow them more time to perfect their sound.
The critically-acclaimed band was due to drop How I Got Over later this month (Oct09), but drummer Ahmir '?uestlove' Thompson reveals the disc has now been pushed back until next year.
In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "I'm pushing it back til early 2010. sorry yall (sic). I know its (sic) a pain in the a**. but I know you guys want this album RIGHT as opposed to RIGHT NOW!"
The Roots have been busy in recent months - Thompson and his bandmates are the house act on U.S. TV show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
