The Police Reschedule Postponed Tour Dates
Veteran rockers THE POLICE have rescheduled a number of concerts which were cancelled after frontman STING contracted a throat infection. The newly-reformed band postponed two gigs in Manchester, England after the singer fell ill last week (ends21Oct07). Tickets for the postponed Manchester concerts on 15 and 16 October are now valid for 17 and 18 June 2008. Gigs at Mannheim and Dusseldorf in Germany, originally planned for 10 and 13 October, will now take place on 5 and 8 June instead. However, the band's postponed show in the Belgian city of Antwerp has been cancelled altogether.
