THE POLICE INSIST LAST GIG WILL BE FINAL

STING's manager has assured fans of THE POLICE that Thursday night's (07Aug08) Madison Square Garden show will be the trio's last - ever.
Kathryn Schenker admits she's often asked if the farewell show for the reformed rockers will truly be their last gig - and she's positive Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland will never hit the road again.
She says, "I would bet the ranch that this is absolutely the last show ever. Sting has been quoted as saying it's important that things have an ending, that it was never meant to be forever, and this is a happy ending for everyone."
