SUPERMAN contender CHRISTOPHER SHOWERMAN has confirmed he's in the running to play another comic book superhero - HE-MAN. The GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE 2 star is reportedly competing for the role in JOHN WOO's new action film remake alongside PAUL WALKER and wrestler TRIPLE H. And he admits he's keen to follow in DOLPH LUNDGREN's footsteps and play the blonde muscle man in HE-MAN + THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE. He tells moviehole.net, "It's been all quiet on the western front for a while, but would I pass up the opportunity to play He-Man? Would I pass up an opportunity to work in a film John Woo is producing...? No."
