THE KILLS star ALISON MOSSHART has slammed rumours the group only became successful because of bandmate JAMIE HINCE's high profile relationship with KATE MOSS.
The rockers were largely unknown before Hince began dating the British supermodel and they have since been inundated with publicity.
But Mosshart hates the tabloid press' interest in them - insisting the band should be known for their talent and not just Hince's love life.
She says, "Some things make you feel like a clown and make you want to disappear. It's unneeded, unwanted attention from people who aren't going to be your friend or real fans.
"I'm just trying to block it out. It's just too much. It's not very nice."
