THE KILLERS HEADLINE V FESTIVAL

The Killers, Snow Patrol and Foo Fighters will headline this summer's V Festival.

It's set to be a busy summer for the first two bands, who are also headlining Scotland's T in the Park in July.

Brit award winner Amy Winehouse has signed up for the gigs along with fellow British female stars Lily Allen, Sophie Ellis Bextor, KT Tunstall and Corinne Bailey Rae.

Solo male artists taking part include Mika, Paolo Nutini, James Morrison and Damien Rice.

More than a dozen groups are currently on the bill, including Kasabian, The Kooks, Manic Street Preachers, Primal Scream, Babyshambles, The Coral and Happy Mondays.

This summer's festival will take place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, and Weston Park, Staffordshire, on the weekend of August 18th and 19th.

Tickets go on sale on Thursday March 1st from 09:00 GMT, but people with Virgin mobile phones are able to buy up to four tickets from today.
