Reformed rockers THE JESUS AND MARY CHAIN are planning to record a new album - according to media reports. The British band performed their first gig in nine years last Thursday (26Apr07) at the Glass House venue in Pomona, California, before wowing the crowds at the Coachella Festival two days later (28Apr07). And the group obviously enjoyed playing together again - Guitarist William Reid was reportedly overheard saying the band intend to head into the studio in October to work on their first album since 1998s Munki, reports NME.com.
