THE HOLD STEADY CANCEL U.K. TOUR

American rockers THE HOLD STEADY have pulled out of all dates on their U.K. tour, reportedly due to illness.
The band was scheduled to kick off their string of gigs in Oxford on Monday (29Sep08) night - but they have been forced to cancel.
Their management team has yet to give fans an official reason for the cancellation, but rumours online suggest one of the quintet has fallen ill.
The Hold Steady were due to play eight shows across the U.K., with the tour wrapping in London on 8 October (08).
Ticketholders have been advised to contact their point of sale for refunds.
