The 'Big Brother' housemates are set to travel into 2209 for their latest shopping task.

The 'Big Brother' housemates are set to travel into the future for their latest shopping task.

The group were awoken early this morning to find the house had been transformed with a futuristic look and Lisa soon told them all what was happening.

Reading the laminate note from Big Brother, she said: "For this week's Shopping Task, housemates have travelled into the future to Big Brother in the year 2209. In the future, Big Brother is open to aliens, robots and androids, as well as traditional human housemates."

She then declared: "I love aliens! I believe in them."

They then had to split up the roles, with Rodrigo requesting he and Sophie were robots while David joined Lisa as an alien, and Charlie wanted to be an astronaut, along with Marcus and Siavash.

Sophie and Rodrigo have now started their part of the task, which involves learning the viral dance phenomenon Daft Bodies, performed to Daft Punk's 'Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger'.
