THE CURE CALL ON FANS TO BOYCOTT ITUNES EP DOWNLOAD

Rockers THE CURE are urging fans to boycott music download service iTunes - because the website's bosses are charging an "absurd" price for their EP HYPNAGOGIC STATES.
The release contains five remixes of the band's first four singles from their forthcoming album 4:13 Dream - with stars including Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy contributing to the EP.
But frontman Robert Smith has called on fans not to buy the tracks from iTunes, claiming the pricing - at $14.79 (GBP7.99) is "totally f**king wrong".
In a post on The Cure's official blog, Smith writes: "Please don't buy Hypnagogic States EP from iTunes for GBP7.99. It is absurd! TMU (The Men Upstairs) has (sic) managed to f**k this up to another level!"
He goes on to post a copy of the email he sent to his record label bosses, in which he states, "I f**king despair again... 5 tracks for GBP7.99? For f**ks sake!
"...Who the f**k is going to pay this and not feel totally ripped off? It's not a f**king album! ...This is so totally wrong. I really do f**king despair. Why is it so incredibly difficult to get anything done right? Please fix this now!"
