THE CHARLATANS MAKE ANNIVERSARY PLAN
The Charlatans are thinking of playing their debut album 'Some Friendly' in full at a special concert to mark the 20th anniversary of its release.
The Charlatans are planning to play their debut album in full.
The 'Weirdo' rockers are preparing for the 20th anniversary of the release of 'Some Friendly' and frontman Tim Burgess admits the group are considering a special concert to commemorate the release - if he can persuade the rest of the group.
Asked if he would consider playing the album in full, Tim said: "We are thinking about that, actually. It's kind of up in the air at the moment. Not everyone in the band wants to do it but I mean it's very rarely that we all agree on everything."
Despite the group's long career, Tim admits the group have considered splitting up several times.
He added to Absolute Radio DJ Geoff Lloyd: "We come close to splitting up all the time but we just haven't yet."
