THE BOSS RULES OVER EUROPE

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN has triumphed over Scottish rockers FRANZ FERDINAND by claiming the top spot in the European albums chart. The Boss' new release Working On A Dream has debuted at number one on the new countdown, ahead of fellow new entry Franz Ferdinand's Tonight: Franz Ferdinand.
Seal climbs up two spots to three with Soul, while Kings of Leon sit tight at four with Only By The Night, and Amy MACDonald's This Is The Life rounds out the top five.
In the European singles chart, Katy Perry continues her reign over the continent - her track Hot N Cold remains in first place, while James Morrison's duet with Nelly Furtado, Broken Strings sticks at two.
Lady Gaga enjoys a double whammy this week - her song Poker Face leaps up the chart from 29 to three, while Just Dance is just behind at four.
Lily Allen is the only new entry in the singles chart's top spots - The Fear debuts at five.
