THE AUTOMATIC FACING LEGAL ACTION

LATEST: British rockers THE AUTOMATIC face legal action from a cameraman injured when the newcomers stripped to their underpants and set about destroying the set on a British morning TV show. The group were playing their hit track MONSTER on GMTV's ENTERTAINMENT TODAY programme last month (21JUL06) when guitarist FROST accidentally gashed the camerman's elbow during the mayhem. And now the band - who were drunk during their appearance - are worried they will be dragged into court after the injured crewmember threatened to sue. Keyboardist ALEX PENNIE says, "(The night before) we just kept drinking. We were all mixing our drinks... "The actual performance was a bit of a blur, but during it Frost cut open the GMTV cameraman's elbow by accident. Then he said he's going to sue us!"
