THAILAND THREATENS TO EJECT GLITTER
LATEST: Officials in Thailand are threatening to return shamed pop star GARY GLITTER to Vietnam after entering the country on Tuesday (19Aug08).
Thailand declared Glitter a "persona non grata" after he refused to board a flight from the country to the U.K. following his release from a Vietnamese prison.
Gadd - real name Paul Gadd - complained of a heart condition and asked to go to a hospital instead, reports Sky News.
Gadd was arrested in November 2005 and subsequently jailed for three years after he was accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old and a nine-year-old.
It is not known if or when Gadd will return to the U.K., where he'll be placed on a sex offenders register.
