TEXAS STAR TIPS COMEDIAN FOR CHRISTMAS NO 1

TEXAS singer SHARLEEN SPITERI has launched a campaign to get British funnyman PETER KAY a Christmas number one in the UK charts. Kay, who starred in Spiteri's video for SLEEP, took a year out from comedy to pursue his obsession for pop and has since performed with TONY CHRISTIE and SIR ELTON JOHN. Now Spiteri is urging him to get a record together so all his new-found industry friends can promote it in time for a festive hit. She says, "Peter is amazing. He's got so many mates in music now. "If he got an album with all of them on there it is bound to go to number one. I'd definitely be on it."
