TERMINATOR CRASHES U.S. BOX OFFICE WITH BIG FIRST DAY
The latest TERMINATOR movie is set to crash into the top spot at the U.S. box office this weekend (24May09) after scooping more than $13 million (8.6 million) in its first day on release.
But Terminator Salvation won't be breaking any records - it made half of what Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull made when it opened on the same day last year (08).
That film went on to sell a whopping $152 million (GBP101.3 million) worth of tickets over the Memorial Day weekend.
