TEARFUL JADE VOTED OFF BB

Jade couldn't keep her emotions in check after discovering she was the first housemate to be evicted from BB: Celebrity Highjack last night.

The 21-year-old beauty queen received 51.2 per cent of the public vote after battling for viewers' affections with racing driver Jeremy and circus performer Victor.

Although receiving comfort from Calista and John, Jade couldn't hold back the tears on hearing the news.

And as she walked out of the house the rain proved a suitable backdrop to her exit.

"I had so much fun in there. I really didn't want to go. It was like the most amazing holiday," she said afterwards.

When it was put to her that she might have been the tiniest bit irritating, she responded: "I was myself and I'm proud of the person I am."

BB pundits were unsurprised by her exit, with many saying she got off on the wrong foot when meeting her housemates.

"I'm a beauty queen… and also a child genius," she beamed, prompting groans. One week later, her BB holiday was over.
