TAYLOR + KING TO HELP CELEBRATE TROUBADOUR'S 50TH ANNIVERSARY

Singer/songwriters JAMES TAYLOR and CAROLE KING are teaming up to play a concert to celebrate the 50th anniversary of legendary Los Angeles venue the Troubadour. The former couple plan to recreate a gig they performed in 1970 at the fabled music club later this month (Nov07), and even plan to use the same backing musicians - guitarist Danny Kortchmar, drummer Russ Kunkel and bassist Lee Sklar. Taylor says, "We thought it would be a good occasion to get together. We're always talking about it and saying we've really got to do something, but if you don't do it you never do it. This seemed like a great opportunity." Although an exact date for the concert has yet to be confirmed, the Troubadour has no bookings on 27, 28 and 28 November (07).
