TAYLOR: 'HEART OPERATION WENT PERFECTLY'

Veteran movie star DAME ELIZABETH TAYLOR has taken to her Twitter.com page to assure fans her heart surgery went "perfectly".
The 77-year-old icon revealed she was going under the knife to improve blood flow to her heart earlier this week (beg05Oct09), and appealed to fans to pray for her wellbeing.
And it seems their good wishes worked - Taylor admits she feels like a new woman following the operation.
In a post on her Twitter.com page on Thursday (08Oct09), she writes, "Dear Friends, My heart procedure went off perfectly. It's like having a brand new ticker. Thank you for your prayers and good wishes. I know they all helped. Love you, Elizabeth."
