TAYLOR FEARS SHE'LL DIE BEFORE THE END OF 2009 - REPORT
DAME ELIZABETH TAYLOR fears she'll die before the end of the year, despite undergoing heart surgery, according to a new U.S. report.
The ailing 77 year old insisted her recent heart procedure "went off perfectly" on a Twitter.com post on 8 October (09), but new tabloid claims suggest the actress is nearing death.
America's the Globe reports Taylor is planning her funeral and saying goodbye to friends - because she's convinced her recent operation to fix a leaky heart valve will be her last.
A source tells the publication, "Elizabeth is trying to prepare everyone for the end because she's convinced her time is up.
"She told a pal, 'I've had a good run, but I just don't know if my heart can take it anymore. I don't think I'll see another New Year.'
"The poor soul is so weak, one more setback could spell the end - and she knows it... She's a realist."
Brave Taylor has battled a series of ailments over the years, fighting skin cancer, back problems and a stroke.
Taylor, who has started addressing tabloid rumours via Twitter.com, has yet to respond to the latest Globe report.
