TAXMAN GOES AFTER HAMMER

Rapper MC HAMMER is facing a new set of financial woes - the star allegedly owes more than $600,000 (£400,000) in unpaid taxes.
The star, real name Stanley Burrell, famously declared himself bankrupt in 1996 after squandering his multi-million-dollar fortune on his lavish lifestyle.
The U Can't Touch This hitmaker launched a U.S. reality show, called Hammertime, in June (09) to get his career back on track - but now he's dealing with a second round of money difficulties.
U.S. government officials have filed three separate liens against him this year (09) that add up to $671,182 (£447,454).
The three demands include a lien from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) filed in May against Burrell and his wife Stephanie for $32,926 (£21,950) and a June request from the state of California seeking $12,464 (£8,309) from the star.
The final lien, filed in July (09), shows that he and his partner also owe a staggering $625,792 (£417,195) to the IRS.
Burrell is the latest celebrity to be named and shamed as indebted to the already financially struggling state - Snoop Dogg and Janice DICkinson are also reportedly being chased for unpaid bills.
