TAUTOU TO PLAY CHANEL

Amelie beauty AUDREY TAUTOU has signed up to play legendary French fashion designer COCO CHANEL in a new biopic. Director Anne Fontaine has cast Tautou in the movie, which tells the story of Chanel's early life. Fontaine says, "I wanted to follow the interior path of this young woman who was poor, without education, but who had an uncommon personality that was ahead of her time." Chanel died in 1971 at the age of 88.
