British TV personality CHRIS TARRANT has been shamed as a wife beater by his furious ex, INGRID. The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire presenter split from the 52year-old blonde in September (06) after reports of a seven-year affair with another woman. Tarrant claimed he cheated because Ingrid wouldn't have sex with him. Now the scorned wife has retaliated by recalling their marriage, which she claims was shattered when Chris punched her in the face when she confronted him about his infidelity. She says, "It was in front of the kids, our son Toby and my daughter Fia. They were both screaming and I was hysterical."
