TARBUCK: NO HEALTH SCARE

The BBC has slammed reports British comedian JIMMY TARBUCK is suffering from deteriorating health after he pulled out of a celebrity reality show this weekend (14-15OCT06). A spokeswoman for the network has denied reports the 66-year-old was rushed to hospital after suffering a heart murmur, insisting he was merely diagnosed with high blood pressure by his doctor. He was due to appear on dance show STRICTLY COME DANCING. She says, "He's hoping to be back next week performing the tango. "Jimmy had wanted to come down, not to dance but to support his fellow competitors. But the BBC wanted him to stay at home and take a complete rest."
