TARANTINO SENT DEATH PROOF SCRIPT TO DYLAN

Filmmaker QUENTIN TARANTINO was so impressed with his script for new movie DEATH PROOF he sent it to celebrated lyricist BOB DYLAN. Tarantino showed the famed musician his work in progress because he was convinced Dylan would be impressed by the dialogue in the script. He explains, "I just thought he'd get a kick out of the dialogue. I've always been a big fan of him and I know him a little bit. "I just thought he would think the wordplay - the structure of the words in it and the different voices for the dialogue - I just thought he would appreciate it." But Tarantino never did find out what Dylan thought of the screenplay, adding, "It's been so crazy ever since, I haven't had a chance to give him a call."
