TARA REID CHECKS INTO REHAB

American Pie actress Tara Reid has checked herself into rehab.

Reports suggest the 33-year-old checked into the Promises Treatment Centre in Malibu on Tuesday, but it is currently unclear what she is being treated for.

Reid's publicist Jack Ketsoyan said in a statement: "We appreciate your respect to her and her family's privacy at this time."

The actress developed a reputation for partying after being photographed leaving numerous clubs over the years but told People magazine back in October that she had put that lifestyle behind her.

"I've done enough for a lifetime of everything. I've had a great time. I partied. I had fun. I ate and drank whatever. I dated a million guys, but I'm so happy with where I'm at right now. I don't need to do anything anymore," she said.

Reid recently launched her own fashion line, Mantra.
