SWAYZE'S MUM: 'KEEP PRAYING FOR PATRICK'

PATRICK SWAYZE's mother is calling on the actor's fans to pray for him as he battles pancreatic cancer. The Dirty Dancing star was diagnosed with the deadly disease in early 2008, and he has been making steady progress since undergoing treatment.
However, he suffered a slight setback earlier this month (Jan09) when he was admitted to hospital with pneumonia, spending a week at a Californian medical centre.
He's now back at home, but his mum Patsy, 81, wants devotees to keep him in their thoughts.
She tells America's Star magazine, "Patrick is strong, and he's determined to beat this! Please tell everyone to keep us in their prayers. Pray for Patrick. I know he has a lot of fans out there thinking about him, and we all appreciate that.
"Patrick is feeling a lot better since he got out of the hospital."

Patrick, My prayers are with you and your family. I too lost my mom to cancer years ago, and know how hard and difficult this disease is. You have a zest for Life and it shows. You are a inspiration to all cancer patients and to your fans. You and my mom are true heroes ! God bless you.

Our prayers are with you Patrick. I lost my mother to cancer on Nov. 18, 2008. A week before her 74th birthday. I miss her and wish I could have done more for her. I feel she left us to soon. I pray for your doctors and for your family. I love you in Dirty Dancing and Ghost. I love to dance and always thought it would be great to dance with you. Thanks for sharing your talent and your soul with us. Love, Judy
