SWAYZE TO TALK TO WALTERS IN TV SPECIAL

U.S. broadcaster BARBARA WALTERS has landed the first TV interview with PATRICK SWAYZE since the actor announced he was battling pancreatic cancer last year (08).
Walters has conducted an indepth chat with the Dirty Dancing star, which will air in America on 7 January (09).
The two old friends met up at Swayze's ranch outside Los Angeles, where Walters first interviewed Swayze for a TV special eight years ago.
Walters tells America's TV Guide magazine, "Everything about him (Swayze) impresses me: his courage, his humour. There's something very valiant about him... He's a fighter."
