SWANK'S TROUBLED CHILDHOOD BROUGHT OSCAR FORTUNE

HILARY SWANK admits her school days were tough - insisting she was a "troubled kid".
The Million Dollar Baby actress was brought up in a humble trailer park in Washington, and found it hard to connect with her peers.
But the star was able to use her insecurities to push herself into acting - and she still can't believe she has won two Academy Awards.
She tells Parade magazine, "I was a troubled kid. I felt like an outsider. I didn't feel like I belonged, especially in the classroom. I just wish that I would have been more secure. It's that trap of thinking there's nothing beyond high school.
"Now, I long to play characters that challenge me and scare me and make me learn new things about the world, about myself and about my art.
"I'm a girl from a trailer park. I never imagined winning an Academy Award, much less two. I just wanted to act."
