SUTHERLAND CRITICISES MONEY/FAME OBSESSED HOLLYWOOD

Veteran actor DONALD SUTHERLAND has hit out at the increasing importance of money and fame in young Hollywood. The 72-year-old, who is currently starring in U.S. TV show Dirty Sexy Money, insists wealth was never sexy during his apprenticeship as an actor. He says, "When I started, I worked seven days a week and made $1,500 a year. I was happy as a clam. "Nowadays, money and fame is a large concern, and everyone wants it. It's not something anyone wanted or expected from my generation. You wanted respect."
