SUTHERLAND BLAMES FANS FOR DUI JAIL SENTENCE
24 star KIEFER SUTHERLAND blames fans for his jail sentence for driving under the influence, and is refusing to sign anymore autographs. The actor will spend Christmas behind bars after being sentenced to 48 days behind bars, following his arrest in September (07). Sutherland was snapped by camera-wielding fans as he stumbled from his car - pictures which appeared on the internet and could have been used as evidence in court. And the 40-year-old is fuming. Autograph collector Michael Wehrmann tells New York gossip column PageSix, "He was one of the best autograph signers there was. "He would always stand and sign for a half hour, but since his arrest, he's been telling collectors, 'I don't do that anymore. You guys screwed me.' "

Keifer should also remember that these fans are the ones that keeps him a actor
and also remember that not all fans are tarred with the same brush.
The real fans would never put picture like these on the internet and he should
be a man and remember if he had not be drunk and driving there would not had
been any photo's.
I really love watching Keifer and I have read what a nice down to earth person
he is. And if he want to carry on being this, he must sign autographs and talk
to the fans, without fans paying to see your films or watching 24 there won't
be a Keifer Sutherland.
What a lame and self denial of an excuse. If all else fails --blame the
paparazzi and or fans. Just a few days ago it was Pierce Brosnan hitting a
photographer in the stomach while he was at a mall with his children. If
certain celebrities (too many to mention here) don't want their picture taken
or to sign autographs then why don't they stay home, go to more private and
secluded places or find another profession?
