SURVIVOR STILL FILMING AMID COUP
The cast and crew from SURVIVOR have been caught up in a political coup in Fiji where they are filming the latest series in the reality TV competition.
The show is being shot on Vanua Levu, while on the neighbouring island of Viti Levu the military has overthrown the government in Suva, the nation's capital.
A US network CBS representative insists the coup has not affected the shoot adding, "Our producers have been assured by the Fiji military that we are safe and the cast and crew will be permitted to leave safely."
The 14th series of the show will be broadcast next spring (07).
