Supermodel NIKI TAYLOR is engaged to NASCAR Busch Series Driver BURNEY LAMAR. Taylor, 31, and Lamar, 26, met at a charity event in January (06) and plan to wed early next year (07). The model's manager LOU TAYLOR confirmed the engagement to American publication Us Weekly. Lamar got down on one knee at Taylor's parents' home in Florida on 15 September (06) to propose with a custom-made two-carat oval diamond in an antique setting. Taylor suffered a near-fatal car accident in 2001 and has endured over 41 surgeries. She is now fully recovered and owns a Nashville, Tennessee boutique called Abbie + Jesse's. Taylor has twin boys, JAKE and HUNTER, age 11, with her ex-husband MATT MARTINEZ, whom she divorced in 1996. She also dated country music star KEITH URBAN on and off in 2002 and 2003. Urban married actress NICOLE KIDMAN in June (06).
