SUGARLAND'S NETTLES RESTING AFTER CANCELLING SHOWS

Country duo SUGARLAND had to scrap two California concerts at the weekend (18-19Jul09) after singer JENNIFER NETTLES was ordered by doctors to rest her vocal cords.
The stars were scheduled to support Kenny Chesney during his tour stop in San Francisco on Saturday and Keith Urban in Los Angeles on Sunday, but they had to pull out of the shows due to Nettles' ongoing voice problems.
The singer has been battling ill health since January (09), but she and guitarist Kristian Bush are expected to resume their live engagements on Thursday (23Jul09) with a gig in Sandy, Utah.
