SUGARLAND STAR SUES FOR $1.5 MILLION

A former member of American country music band SUGARLAND is suing her former bandmates for $1.5 million (GBP75,000) in unpaid profits - three years after she quit the group.
Kristen Hall and Jennifer Nettles fronted the band for three years, but Hall left in 2006 to concentrate on her songwriting. She was replaced by Kristian Bush.
But Hall is now suing both Nettles and Bush over claims they have not paid her the profits, since their album Love on the Inside topped the U.S. Billboard 200 chart this week (begs04Aug08), reports TMZ.com.
Sugarland have declined to comment.
