STUMP: WEST IS 'THE VOICE OF A GENERATION'

FALL OUT BOY frontman PATRICK STUMP holds hip-hop heavyweight KANYE WEST high on his list of musical influences - insisting the controversial rapper is "the voice of a generation".
Stump, who rocks alongside bassist Pete Wentz in the band, admits it was West's recent track Love Lockdown of his new album 808s + Heartbreak that made him the ultimate fan - because the rapper isn't afraid to stir up his emotions.
He tells People magazine, "It's a breakup song, but it's talking about how unfair he was being to his ex. He probably is the voice of this decade, the voice of a generation."
