STRIKING SCARLETT NAMED WORLD'S SEXIEST WOMAN

World sexiest women polls are normally a bloke's domain but when girls get to vote, starlet Scarlett leads the way.

The 22-year-old topped the Glamour magazine poll which asked 5,000 women to name the sexiest star and it was Justin Timberlake's rumoured beau which took the top spot.

"With curves to rival Marilyn Monroe's, Scarlett embraces old-school Hollywood style and exudes body confidence. Does she ever have an off day? In a word, no," the mag gushed.

Curvaceous Scarlett has hit out at the media's obsession with size zero girls before, stating that ultra-thin is not a sexy look and it appears a lot of girls agree.

The Lost in Translation star, described by Woody Allen as "criminally sexy", beat super-toned actress Jessica Alba and leggy Brazilian millionaire model Gisele Bundchen, who came second and third.

Fellow OC stars and fashion junkies Mischa Barton and Rachel Bilson took sixth and seventh spots while curvy Kelly Brook is the only Brit in the top ten.

However, in a classic turn of events, Brad Pitt might want to check out the other two contenders in the top five.

Mother of his baby and long-term girlfriend Angelina Jolie was voted fifth sexiest woman in the world, just one spot behind his former wife Jennifer Aniston.

It seems this poll's voters are still largely aligned to Team Aniston.
