STREETS SCRAP U.S. TOUR

British rap group THE STREETS have abandoned plans for a farewell tour of America, after their last album flopped.
Frontman Mike Skinner recently revealed The Streets' forthcoming fifth album will be their last, so he can follow his filmmaking dreams.
The group had hoped to make a final bow in the U.S. but Skinner can't afford the expense, following poor sales of Everything is Borrowed.
He says, "I probably won't make it to America this time, though, as we can't afford it. Sorry all Stateside Streets fans. Not financially viable. Would have been nice, but we've had some great shows before. I guess that's the main thing.
"(It) doesn't stop me feeling sad but I've been getting paid to tour all over the world for years, as a result of those over-priced CD things. It has to come to an end at some point".
