STRAIT REPLACES JACKSON AS U.S. ALBUM CHART KING

The King of Country has dethroned the King of Pop in America - GEORGE STRAIT has ended MICHAEL JACKSON's run as the album bestseller.
Strait's new album Twang replaces Jackson's Number Ones compilation as the best selling album in America.
The pop superstar has held that title for five of the seven weeks since his death in June (09).
Twang is Strait's fifth number one on the Billboard 200 countdown, and his 23rd to top the Top Country Albums chart.
Another old-timer, Neil Diamond, crashes in to the number two spot on the main chart with concert CD/DVD Hot August Night/NYC, and the Black Eyed Peas' The E.N.D. rounds out the new top three.
Indie rock supergroup Cobra Starship's third album Hot Mess debuts at four.
