STONES DENY LIVE EARTH REPORTS

THE ROLLING STONES have denied reports they will headline the Live Earth show at London's Wembley Stadium this summer (07JUL07). The story, originally reported on the Fox News website by columnist ROGER FRIEDMAN, claimed the BROWN SUGAR rockers were set to perform at the concert series promoting awareness of climate change. However, the Stones, who no longer perform on consecutive nights, would have had to postpone their 6 July show in Rome to play the gig. A spokesman for the band said, "Not happening."
