STONE LEFT RECORD COMPANY OVER KEYS
Soul superstar ANGIE STONE was forced to part ways with her record company because she did not want to become a mentor to ALICIA KEYS.
The singer claims bosses at J - the record label run by music mogul Clive Davis - encouraged her help R+B star Keys boost her career, while neglecting hers.
She says, "I tell everybody I know, 'Don't train somebody for your job if they're planning on firing you.'
"I felt I was in a training position to make Alicia Keys the next Angie Stone. She's not me and I'm not her."
