STING THANKS FANS FOR SUPPORT
Rocker STING has thanked concerned fans for their well wishes as his daughter COCO recovers from a fractured skull.
Coco Sumner, 18, suffered the injury after collapsing and hitting her head on a chair in a Los Angeles restaurant last month (25-26Apr09).
According to British tabloid reports, the teenager remains under close surveillance in an L.A. hospital intensive care unit with her family by her side.
The Police frontman, real name Gordon Sumner, was working in the U.S. at the time of the incident and rushed to his daughter's bedside, while his wife Trudie Styler flew in to L.A. from London.
And Sting has assured fans Coco is on the road to recovery.
His representative tells People.com, "Coco is recovering beautifully. The family thanks everyone for their concern."
Coco, an aspiring singer/songwriter, is currently living in L.A. while she completes her debut album.
