STING CAMPAIGNS TO HAVE 'FLAT-PACK' FISHING HUT DEMOLISHED
Rocker STING is campaigning to have a tiny fishermen's shelter near his mansion in Wiltshire, England, bulldozed, because he insists it is a blight on the landscape. The former POLICE frontman is furious the structure was erected without planning permission, and has reportedly contacted the council in a bid to have it removed. The singer's spokesman says, "I can confirm that Sting has objected. "This is a commercial venture by a multi-millionaire property developer, built without planning consent in an area of outstanding natural beauty, which is also a site of special scientific interest. Many local people are upset by this development."
