STILLER CALLED ON PARENTS DURING ACID TRIP

BEN STILLER was so terrified when he took acid for the first time, he called his parents for advice on how to get out of his bad trip. The DODGEBALL funnyman's parents are American comedy duo JERRY STILLER and ANNE MEARA, but they had no experience of the drug and only made their 16-year-old son feel more confused. He says, "It was scary - a bad, bad trip. The first and last time I ever did it. I freaked out and called my parents, who were in Los Angeles doing an episode of THE LOVE BOAT. "They just had no experience of it; they had no idea how to calm me down. My dad said, 'Oh, I understand what you're going through, I smoked a cigarette when I was 10 and I was sick for two days. "I was saying, 'No, no, Dad, it's not like that!"
