STEWART: 'EURYTHMICS WILL STILL GIG AT 70'
EURYTHMICS star DAVE STEWART refuses to rule out touring into old age - and is confident he will still be performing with bandmate ANNIE LENNOX when he's 70 years old.
The musician, 55, credits his strong friendship with Lennox with helping him to enjoy his experiences in the band.
And he admits he is so dedicated to the group's fans, he will continue to play live shows until they tire of him.
He says, "Annie and I have never had a shouting out argument, which is pretty amazing. Eurythmics will last forever.
"I wouldn't be surprised if we were performing together at 70 at (London's) Royal Albert Hall to an audience of pensioners who grew up with our music. You last forever in the minds of your fans."
